Kelly Johnston

Ka Chi Yoga Instructor, First Lineage. Integrative Health Practitioner, SUP & Paddle Instructor, CPI (Pilates).

Kelly is a certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and SUP Yoga instructor as well as a Pilates Coach. Kelly is a Certificated Integrated Health Coach who guides others on their journey to holistic health and self-care.

Growing up in the country close to the Great Lakes, Kelly has kept a close connection with nature. Throughout the years of growth and challenges in her career in health care, her work life balance have been through the healing powers of forests and lake walks, meditation, yoga and healthy living.

With over 20 years in the health care industry working with teams providing community support programs or delivering quality care to seniors, Kelly worked with teams with the goal and mission to enhance mind, body and spirit into the daily lives of those who they provided the cares and services to. She started her career in the field of horticulture, working garden centres, developing landscape designs and helping local seniors tend to their gardens and while providing companionship. This led to working as program assistant in the health care industry providing community supports in a non profit setting and then working as General Manager in a family run Retirement & Assistant Living setting. Kelly has learned that in order to survive in the forever changing and challenging roles of today’s societal pressures and stressors you must prioritize your own personal mental and physical health in order to help others and be your best self.  Her goals are to take her combined years of experience of personal growth and education in healthy living lifestyle and help others apply to theirs. Her passion for bringing mind, body alignment for the greater healing of others has led her to continue her education in the field of Integrative Health and functional medicine and is a recent IHP Level 1 (Integrative Health Practitioner) graduate, working towards becoming Level 2 certified.  

Kelly is a certified Yoga Teacher (2009) with ongoing studies through local and online yoga and meditation trainings. 2024 she took her love of being on and in the water and completed Basic Stand UP Paddle Board and SUP Yoga Teacher certification and looks forward to taking her practice to others on the local waters. She is also advancing her yoga studies of mind/body through Ka Chi Yoga Institute, a yoga and martial arts infusion.

Kelly’s 15 years in a leadership role has given her the drive to continue to support and lead others providing them with the tools to take power back into their lives and thrive in a healthier mind and body.Kelly keeps creative through her jewelry line ByBeachChic and will be sharing her love of beading with semi precious stones, crystals and mala meditation through co created workshop through Willow and Lake.
